Mr. Santhosh Skaria, General Manager, Al Zahra Hospital Sharjah & NMC Healthcare, Sharjah Cluster, was the CFO in (GMPC) Group and has been in Al Zahra Hospital Sharjah for 13 years.

He completed the IFRS course and is presently pursuing the Certified Management Accounting Program from the USA.

As a qualified Chartered Accountant from India with 23 years’ experience in UAE healthcare industry, Mr. Skaria has a proven record for his financial acumen as well as the astute knowledge of the healthcare process across the Middle East.

Mr. Skaria has a track record of successful projects of healthcare acquisitions, mergers, development strategies, and a high understanding of the financial ramifications of business decisions.

Dr. Dinesh Arya Chief Medical Officer

For the last 20 years, Dr. Arya has been a senior health executive within Health Services in New Zealand and Australia, where he has worked as a Chief Medical Officer, Director of Mental Health Services and as Clinical Lead for Health Innovation.

Dr Arya is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators, Fellow of the Australian College of Health Service Management, Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK. He also has a Diploma in Psychological Medicine from Ireland and a Research Doctorate in Psychopharmacology from the University of Nottingham, UK. He has completed a Masters in Business, a Masters in Bioethics and Health Law and an Executive Masters in Public Administration. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma.

Mr. Ajit Kumar G Chief Operating Officer

With over 30 years of experience in Healthcare encompassing planning, design, construction, commissioning, start up and management, Mr. Ajit was one of the key members involved in establishing the Al Zahra Hospital, Sharjah; Al Zahra Hospital, Dubai; Al Zahra Medical Centre, Dubai; several other medical centres and the trading division Gulf Medical Commercial Agencies.

Mr. Ajit has in-depth knowledge in creating specialized medical disciplines covering process, space, equipment and staffing ensuring patient-centric operations. An Engineer by profession, his skill to ‘bridge the gap’ between the technical and the functional has been a major contributing factor to the growth of the aforementioned organizations.

Ms. Shazia AminDirector of Nursing

Ms. Shazia is the Director of Nursing at Al Zahra Hospital Sharjah since 2012. She has been with the organization for the past 15 years and has worked in various senior nursing positions and grown her nursing career with immense contributions in each assigned area.

Ms. Shazia is a member of the Registration & Licensure committee of Nursing and Midwifery council for the UAE, Nurse Leader at Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and alumni of Aga Khan University Hospital. Shazia has done her Masters in Hospital Management, Diploma in Strategic Leadership and Management and Health Care Quality Management (HCQM) from Cambridge UK. She is also a faculty at the American Heart Association for BLS and ACLS Course.

Ms. Shazia has shown immense leadership skills at AL Zahra Hospital and has inspired many to dream more, learn more and do more.
